What's your vision of the future? What would you like to hear that's yet to be said?

How do you feel about what's going on in this country at the moment?

Have you ever told yourself that something more is possible?

In the last two elections, more than 20% of eligible voters did not vote and in the last election statistics showed that this percentage had increased to 28% of the public registered on the electoral roll.

The No Confidence Party believes this is because an increasing amount of people have no confidence in the existing political parties.

The statistics also show that the two biggest parties usually only get around 30% of the vote each and the rest are shared between the remaining smaller parties.

So in NZ out of the two larger parties that usually win, the one that gains even just slightly more votes essentially wins the election. The winning party then has to negotiate with the smaller parties to gain a voting majority so that legislative bills may be passed in parliament.

This means that more than two thirds of the population is not being properly represented in parliament.

Furthermore, out of the two biggest NZ parties that usually gain a voting majority in the NZ Parliament by only achieving just over 30% of the vote the party that becomes the most powerful in the house also utilises the majority of uncast votes by proxy. This is because the New Zealand Electoral Commission allocates all uncast votes to the parties that achieve over the 5% threshold proportionally based on the percentage of the vote they gain. Uncast votes are created by all those who are registered on the electoral roll but don't vote.

It is in this way that the party that achieves a majority vote from a 30% population minority is able to fill the rest of the seats it needs in order to dominate the remaining 70% majority of this country! Does that sound like democracy to you?

We believe the reason for this is poor quality representation, the failure of the New Zealand media and the government to inform the public that all uncast votes are actually utilized by proxy is evidence that supports this assertion.

We also think that if the people have confidence in the candidates and parties running for government, then they will vote!

Increasing numbers of people are losing confidence in the integrity of the representation available to them and more and more people are losing faith in the system as a whole!

Our current constitutional representatives and the systems they have created are failing!

This is the reason why we have formed the No Confidence Party.

So what has been missing in parliament?

The existing parties have simply failed to provide for the well-being of the majority of New Zealanders in one government after the other. This is because, as statistics show, it is only a minority of people that are actually being represented!

New Zealand’s parliament needs proper representation for the people! And that's where we come in, we represent the people, and that means everyone!

We are in the process of putting you and us all back into government by creating a party that acts as an avenue for direct access to parliament for the people!

We will investigate and process requests or complaints that are supported by affidavits from people who wish to make presentations to parliament in order to seek solutions for their problems.

We will guide and assist people in order to make their presentations directly to the House of Parliament. Or if it is the people’s will, then as constitutional representatives, we may present matters on the people’s behalf. For is it not our House? Are we not all equal under the Law?

Our intention is to hold all members of parliament to their pledges, to their sworn oaths of office and to the law. We seek to improve the quality of our government by making all members accountable to the people for their actions.

In this way the benefits of this abundant country may then begin to flow to us more equally.

Labour did not listen to the people. National has proven itself to represent nothing more than power and greed at any cost. Neither of these parties have really looked after the people of New Zealand. Is the Maori

Party really looking after the Maori people? Are the Greens effective, why haven't they grown? What have the others achieved?

This One's About No Confidence!

We will not dictate policy to you. We want you to dictate policy to us.

Our consultation with the people will be genuine and we seek for referendums to be binding.

We will empower the people by making all information available. This will allow the people to create their own policy.

We will make full use of existing information as a resource for the people.

Transparency and accountability will be paramount.

We will investigate and audit the government upon receiving the people’s mandate to do so.

The result will be the reorganisation and improvement of a dysfunctional government that has never really worked for all the people of New Zealand before.

We are interested in current solutions to old problems for a new future. We will look at new methods in preparation for tomorrow as the world we once knew is now changing.
